More recently originating from the sunny regions of Southern Spain, its ancient origins are clouded with uncertainty. An elegant horse, the Andalusian possess tremendous presence, lofty paces and agility. Its willing nature makes it an ideal all-round horse. Grey is one of the common Andalusian colours, in addition to bay. Spotted strains of the Andalusian are linked to the founding of the Appaloosa breed.
